The bad news is that finishing your PhD isn't the end! It is, in fact, the start of a career as a qualified researcher. The good news is that what comes after can be *fun* (as opposed to, perhaps, it not being so much fun during the PhD). Let's discuss the prospects and opportunities for new PhD holders in the international scene and build a repertoire of tricks one should master in order to prosper, whether in academia or in industry.
