| Abstract: | The Re-use of Resources across Languages rest on the liguistic notion of functional similarity and difference: by capturing the functions languages need to perform, it could be achieved a level of linguistic description which carries across languages more effectively than accounts that are structurally based. This project takes as its starting point the adaptation of the English-specific ILEX/WAG Resources to cope Spanish Language. In order to achieve this goal a comparative analysis of both, English and Spanish, lexico-grammars is made. One of the benefits of this approach is that the Resources can be adapted into Spanish with minor changes, producing a Spanish Sentence Generation that works appropriately with regards to functionality.
