| Abstract: | A system based on linear CCD cameras was built to provide a simple yet functional vision system for a ground-based vehicle. The system not only acquires data but also applies image processing functions such as motion detection and edge detection to it. The vision system is self-contained and can be interfaced with other sensors and a controller via the I2C bus. This project is part of a series of projects to build an artificial behavioural equivalent of a cat. |
