We have implemented a system that synthesizes structure of system dynamics models starting from ecological data described through the so called Ecolingua ontology. Now, allegedly, the use of ontologies should enable knowledge sharing, or model sharing, in our case. So the question is: can we reuse these synthesized models to suit new data sets, also described through the same ontology? Would that be advantageous in any way?
In this talk I'll show you what looks as promising answers to that.
