As you know my project has to do with generating ecological models from descriptions of data. The Ecolingua Ontology, that reuses definitions from several other ontologies, provides the vocabulary for the data descriptions. One obvious requirement of this approach is that the descriptions must comply with the ontology. This talk will be about the checking of the descriptions against the EngMath (Ontology for Engineering Maths) subset of Ecolingua, involving concepts such as physical dimensions and units of measure.
