(1) Some thoughts about future work on Web Site Synthesis

During the development of our approach to Web site synthesis, we have identified some issues which require more thoughts and investigation. In this talk I'll discuss some of the issues we have identified as potential extensions to our work. The main points are:

• Supporting other High-Level Specifications
• Representing and Implementing Dynamic Pages
• Personalisation of Web Sites

(2) Research Perspectives in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Amazonas

Since I am going back to resume my activities at the University of Amazonas next week, I thought it would be a good idea to give an overview of the activities of our department. In particular, I'll talk about the perspectives for research given the addition of at least four lecturers with PhD degree within the next 6 months.
