In this talk we discuss the feasibility of deploying agents as rational components of WWW sites. Any instance of a site, be it pieces of information of a page, a single page, a cluster of pages, or the whole site itself, is to be looked after by an intelligent agent responsible for its adequate presentation and update. In our proposal, agents looking after a WWW site can negotiate, collaborate and compete for services. Computational logic will be used to specify the organisation of the site, including the agents, their actions and embedded knowledge. This presentation is a brainstorming session on our ideas with a view to expose them and get feedback and suggestions.
