In this talk, a brief introduction to the Joint Air Component Commander (JFACC) Project will be given, followed by how Enterprise Modelling Methods may play an important part in improving the performance of air force operations.
A brief introduction to the IDEF0 modelling method where the domain knowledge lies will also be given. We then propose that the complex enterprise knowledge can be stored, viewed and analysed using multi-perspective modelling techniques. Our initial approach towards the capturing and presenting of the enterprise knowledge will be described; the possible future work based on the initial work is also proposed in the talk. The talk is concluded with potential benefits offered by our work.
