The SSP group soon will be involved in research which attempts to use idealised models of complex (but not too complex) multi-agent systems to gain insights into the relationship between designs of individual agents and the behaviour of large agent clusters. We need a laboratory framework for conducting our experiments but there does not appear to exist a framework which fits our requirements for:
