Schema-based Argumentation

Daniela Carbogim

As most of you know, we are interested in formalising dynamic arguments, ie arguments that can be changed in order to defend themselves against attacks. We have developed an architecture that is generic enough to capture this type of argument, but which also leaves too much to be specified by someone willing to apply it. In this talk, we will present a methodology based on a classification of argument schemata that allows this architecture to be instantiated and used for practical purposes.
