Argumentation is a very heterogeneous concept, and many authors have considered it in rather different ways. In this informal talk, I will present some of those approaches, such as the work developed at the Imperial College and the Imperial Cancer Research Fund.
My main objective in this presentation is to discuss the different aspects of formal argumentation and the domains in which it can be applicable, as part of the investigations regarding the outlining of my PhD research.
