Modeling Clinical Protocols as Multi-Agent Systems

Chris Walton

As part of the SLIE project we are interested in modeling real-world scenarios as Multi-Agent Systems (MAS). In previous SSP talks we have outlined MAS models of banking systems, open-source software development, and tourism.

We have recently begun collaborating with Cancer Research UK and have been considering how we might use agents to address some of their concerns. In this talk I will discuss our initial thoughts on how we might model clinical protocols as MAS, and what problems we may be able to address by adopting this approach.
