In this talk I will present a series of case studies which we are using for the validation phase of the SLIE project. The case studies are all multi-agent ecosystems, intended to represent real-world phenomena. I will describe each case study in detail and discuss our validation strategy.
In this talk we describe the different approaches we have investigated in order to supply a laboratory framework for the SLIE project. Three distinct approaches to the execution of populations of infohabitants (or, more commonly, multi-agent systems) have been exploited and are compared here: sequential, multi-processing and multi-threading. A standard inter-agent communication platform can be additionally connected to the multi-threading execution approach making it robust and generic.
