An Investigation into Philosophical Dialectic

Abstract: I shall be giving a description of the debating system I am currently working on. This will include:

  1. Motivations behind the system
  2. A brief history of the field of argumentation including particular emphasis on Haggith's work
  3. How these and other considerations have influenced my design
  4. Ways of representing beliefs in the knowledge base
  5. A report of progress so far
  6. Future work
