This talk will describe our preliminary data analysis work for web experiments on communicating knowledge through synthesised websites, particularly the selection of parameterised web components to present aviation accident event information. We are investigating whether the preference in web component selection is related to the importance ratings of design criteria and the performance in visualisation or analogy-making tests of the subjects. Although our findings so far are not conclusive, they roughly show some interesting patterns.
