This talk will describe our preparation work for web experiments on communicating knowledge through synthesised websites, particularly the selection of parameterised web components to present aviation accident event information. We are going to investigate whether the preference in web component selection is correlated with the performance invisualisation or analogy-making tests of the subjects. We also want to study how the preferred web components are justified in terms of their expressiveness and effectiveness in communicating simple relations of accident events as seen by the web designers and audience.
