The SLIE (Sustainable Life-cycles in Information Ecosystems) project has been concerned with the simulation of large-scale multi-agent systems. This project is now in its final stages and we are in the process of summarising the project achievements. In my talk I will summarise the approaches to agent modelling which we pursued in the project. I will describe our methodology, and demonstrate the tools which were constructed for agent modelling. I will also outline three simulation experiments which were performed.
