| Abstract: | In this paper we present the attention sub-system of an iconic, picture based, vision system. Our system is based on an interest map that records the saliency of potential foveation points. These saliency scores are computed on the basis of both photometric features and knowledge of the likely relationships between object sub-components. We demonstrate our attention algorithm on artificial and natural images. |
