| Abstract: | An approach to a computational grammar of Spanish based on some insights from Unification Categorial Grammar (UCG) and HPSG is proposed. This formalism is slightly modified to include mechanisms equivalent to case marking and thematic role assignment, which are used to give an account of the behaviour of clitics. |
