Resolution and repeatability

Issue: Resolution and repeatability (achieved and potential) of shape irregularity assessment.

Comment: A resolution of $512 \times 512$ pixels, grayscale, appears to be both necessary and sufficient. Subpixel accuracy is -- and must be -- used to efficiently increase the precision. We have no experience with repeatability. To gain some, one needs multiple experiments with the same shape set. Currently, we have no capacity for that.
